Step-by-step guide for Databox Solutions customers

Whether you’re working remotely or stepping away from your desk, it’s important to stay on top of your voicemails. With Databox Solutions’ hosted phone system, checking and managing your voicemail is simple.

Accessing Your Voicemail

Follow these steps to listen to and update your voicemail greetings:

  1. Dial 9999 from your hosted phone.
  2. When prompted, press * to log in.
  3. Enter your extension number (e.g. 1001).
  4. Enter your voicemail password (e.g. 1234).
  5. You’ll now enter the Mailbox Management Menu.

Voicemail Greeting Options

Once you’re in the mailbox system:

  • Dial 1 – Access mailbox management
  • Dial 2 – Record a new busy greeting
  • Dial 3 – Record a new no answer greeting
  • Dial 4 – Record an extended away/holiday greeting

These features let you customise how your business sounds to callers when you’re unavailable.

Can I Check Voicemail Remotely?

Yes! You can also check your voicemail from an external phone. Simply dial your main business number, wait for the voicemail greeting, press *, then follow the same login steps. This ensures you’re never out of touch — even when you’re offsite.
