Our story

IT & Telecommunications Under One Roof

Con Sotiris and Mark Prieditis started Databox Solutions in 2017 to give Australian businesses one partner for their technology. Con brought deep IT expertise, Mark years in telecommunications, and the business was built around looking after customers properly.

In 2023 we acquired Central Technologies, a Queensland telecommunications specialist founded in 2000. Today one Australian team, across Brisbane and Melbourne, still works the same way: one point of contact, and technology explained in plain English.

We also run our own hosted calling platform, VoIP Express, so your phone system is set up, hosted and supported by the same Australian team.

    Con Sotiris and Mark Prieditis found Databox Solutions to bring IT and telecommunications under one roof: Con’s IT expertise alongside Mark’s telecommunications experience.

  2. Central Technologies Joins Databox

    We acquired Central Technologies, a Queensland ICT and telecommunications specialist founded in 2000. The two businesses merged under the Databox Solutions name, adding more than 20 years of telecommunications experience.

Who owns Databox Solutions?

Databox Solutions is the trading name of Data Box Pty Ltd (ABN 26 620 279 263), an Australian-owned company founded in 2017 by Con Sotiris and Mark Prieditis, who remain its directors. Con brought the IT expertise and Mark the telecommunications experience, which is why phones, internet and IT sit under one roof.

Where are Databox Solutions’ offices?

Our head office is at 6/3843-3845 Pacific Highway, Loganholme QLD 4129, covering Brisbane, Logan and the Gold Coast. Our Melbourne office is at 10 Richards Court, Keilor Park VIC 3042. Businesses everywhere else in Australia are supported remotely, with on-site work handled through our Australia-wide supplier network.

Is your support team based in Australia?

Yes. Our staff, systems and support are 100% Australian, with no offshore call centres. The helpdesk runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm AEST, from our Brisbane and Melbourne offices, with optional 24/7 priority support.

Every phone system and IT rollout has a dedicated project manager who owns it from the first scoping call to go-live. After go-live, our helpdesk team in Brisbane and Melbourne supports you, and you can call the same people who set your system up.
