What’s Changing with NBN Speed Upgrade?

NBN Co’s Accelerate Great initiative is bringing faster speeds to customers on Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) and Hybrid Fibre Coaxial (HFC) connections.

Here’s some of the current NBN speed tiers can be upgraded from 15th September 2025:

Your Speed Tier Not on the List?

Will I Be Automatically Upgraded?

Databox Solutions is excited to bring you these changes, and the best part is there’s no extra monthly cost for eligible customers. However, customers will need to contact us to authorise the upgrade on their NBN account.

At the same time, your actual speed will depend on your equipment. If your modem, router, or internal network isn’t designed for higher speeds, you may need to upgrade your devices to achieve the full benefit of the upgrade.

To make the most of the NBN Speed Upgrade:

  • Upgrade to Wi-Fi 6E or Wi-Fi 7 for maximum performance
